This chair comes from the book “100 Chairs in 100 Days in its 100 Ways” published by Dent-de-Leone, a publishing house co-directed by the Italian designer Martino Gamper. The title of the book describes his approach: using cadavers or chair parts found in the street or in the homes of friends, he produced 100 chairs, at the rate of one a day for 100 days, never making the same twice. Since it was completed in 2006, this project has been exhibited many times (London 2007, Dusseldorf 2009, Milan 2009, San Francisco 2010, etc) and the book from which this image is taken is periodically republished.
